We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Functional Tester
Cybersecurity – Identity & Access Management is a key pillar in cybersecurity that works as global engineering and development team providing IAM technology & solutions for HSBC. Team support & develop many of the Bank’s most critical IAM infrastructure services including Active Directory, Privileged Access Management and Access Governance and aim to provide high-quality, automated and self-service solutions to our customers.
To support the IAM Test Manager to deliver and execute the defined Test Strategy
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other testing related documentation based on the requirements and technical specifications
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
- Ensure data integrity standards
- Plan, develop, execute, maintain and improve functional testing, Test Scripts for Web and Database applications
- Identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Accurately report and track testing related defects and issues, by writing effective and thorough bug reports, and verify bug fixes
- Coordinate UAT and other testing related tasks with Business and other IT departments
- Identify process and application issues and provide suggestions to improve
- Proven experience in writing manual and automated test scripts using JavaScript
- Experience of using automation tools such as Selenium web driver IO (WDIO) / Cucumber etc. (Test preparation and execution)
- Liaison with business areas/technical leads re SIT/OAT/UAT scenario definitions as required
- Analysis of design and other documents for testability
- Knowledge of Web UI Testing; JIRA; Access Management; SailPoint IdentityIQ
- Skill set for the Automation Test Engineer (API, Automation, Testing)
