The WFH - Business Finance Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and improving client processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. This includes creating visual representations of processes, developing relevant collaterals, analyzing existing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization, performing needs analysis, and implementing new processes. This role requires a high level of understanding of Financial practices, Accounting, and Audit. The role is an internal position that reports to the Process Development Supervisor under the direction of the Client Services Manager.
Preferred applicants: Former or current Finance Managers, Accounting Managers, Internal Auditors, Controllers, Process Improvement Officers/Specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Process Engineering Calls with clients and handle ongoing communications
- Design, develop, and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Create visual representations of processes and relevant collaterals
- Design and draft process flows, work instructions, and collaterals for new and existing processes
- Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Beta test new processes to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of new processes
- Implement and facilitate knowledge transfer of new processes
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that processes and collaterals meet requirements and standards
- Develop and maintain documentation related to processes and designs, including process flows, work instructions, technical documentation, and training materials
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in process development and adult learning materials
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in process development or a related field
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop manufacturing processes
- Experience analyzing and optimizing existing processes
- Experience implementing new processes in a production environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Effective time management and results-oriented approach.
- Basic to advanced computer skills and internet proficiency.
- Willingness to work during overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.
- Willingness to be an independent contractor.
- Possesses a computer with the following minimum technical specifications:
PROCESSOR: Intel i3, i5, or i7 5th Gen / AMD Ryzen 3 / Apple M1 and higher
RAM: 8 GB or higher
OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11 / MacOS Catalina or newer
INTERNET: at least 15Mbps wired connection
