NI BU Global Business Execution (GBE) team has an immediate opening for a Staff Engineering Support Assistant (ESA) . It’s an exciting opportunity to work on systems that are sold in all NI’s Business Units. Semiconductor, Transportation, Aerospace/Government, and Portfolio BUs are looking for us to help them operationalize their offerings to market. We (In GBE) are a team that is responsible for Offering Operationalization, Demand Planning, and lifecycle management. In this role you will be creating the Part Numbers (SKUs) and the crucial release coordination of these offerings that are deployed worldwide. As an ESA in this team, you would be primarily responsible for creating and updating Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Manufacturing Verification Run (MVR) jobs for new offering configurations.
Essential Duties:
- Work closely with GBE process manager and Offering Managers to create system BOMs and MVR entries.
- Identify and resolve issues related to system BOM creation and management.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure the successful execution of MVR jobs.
- Work with other R&D groups on sustaining projects for existing system BOMs.
- Assist GBE with other hardware part number creation needs.
- Lifecycle management of offering part numbers.
- Increase the efficiency of the part number creation process over time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite at an expert level.
- Experience using Agile or Oracle.
- Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Team player who works well with teammates and other internal groups.
- Follows existing processes and escalates any process deficiencies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Be open to travel but not required.
- Hybrid role working from the office or home as desired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade or college degree in any discipline.
- 2 years of data entry experience.
- Hands-on experience using NI software and hardware products.
- Advanced Experience using Agile or Oracle.
- Experience working with various geographies and functions.
